Noolpiravi Foundation, operating the Manuscripts & Inscriptions Digitization Foundation (“MIDF”, “we”, “us” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through https://midf.org.in, how we use it, and the choices you have.

- Donor details you provide when donating: name, email address, phone number, postal address, and PAN (where you choose to claim an 80G tax exemption).
- Donation details: amount, selected fund, reference number, and payment status.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment gateway (Razorpay) and your bank. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials.
- Technical and usage data: basic analytics such as pages visited and aggregate, privacy-friendly usage statistics.
2. How we use your information
- To process your donation and issue a receipt.
- To issue 80G tax-exemption certificates, where applicable.
- To communicate with you about your donation and, where you have consented, about our work and updates.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Website.
3. Legal basis
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, to fulfil the donation you have requested, and to comply with our legal obligations under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- with our payment gateway and banking partners, strictly to process and verify your donation;
- with service providers who help us operate the Website and issue receipts, under confidentiality obligations;
- with government, tax or regulatory authorities where required by law (for example, for 80G / tax reporting).
5. Data retention
We retain donor and donation records for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above and to meet statutory, tax and audit requirements, after which the data is securely deleted or anonymised.
6. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. Sensitive payment data is handled by PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors and is not stored on our systems.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use minimal, privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the Website is used. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles of you.
8. Your rights
